cumulative degree day
The sum of the daily Heating Degree Day (HDD) or Cooling Degree Day ( CDD) values over a specified period, usually a month or a season. This value would also be the number recorded in that month's or season's HDD or CDD Index value. Chicago Mercantile Exchange Glossary
